Hey, a couple of Weekends ago, I took the Rider's Edge - New Rider Course and passed both tests, riding and written. I got my waiver card and then I went to the Department of Motor Vehicles and got a Motorcycle Endorsement on my Driver's License. I do not have a Motorcycle YET but I plan on buying one this year. The bike I am looking into getting is the 2009 Buell XB12Scg, mainly because of the lower seat height. When I was the first day of class for the Rider's Edge program, the students got to tour the Dealership and sit on the Bikes. The first bike I sat on was the Buell XB12Ss but the seat height was a little to high for me, but I liked how the bike felt and stuff.
I've actually been talking to a Sales Person at a Harley-Davidson/Buell Dealership and he said they will be getting a 2009 Buell XB12Scg in late October. I am going to put a Deposit on the Bike and when it arrives, all I have to do is Finalize the sale within 10-days after it gets to the dealership.
I have a question though. Does anyone know any Motorcycle Insurance Companies that will let you shut off your Insurance during the Winter months?? Or just make you pay for Comprehensive Insurance??
