After owning my Uly for a while, I devloped a pulsation in the front brake. In my experience from Porsche track days, it's been explained as a phenomenon called pad transfer, not warped rotors. We usually swap the pads for something more agressive for a couple of sessions and the problem goes away. From reading other Uly forums (and also VRSCR forums), swapping out to Lyndall Gold Plus pads would clear this up. The dealer wanted $274 for a new rotor, plus new pads, plus installation. Told me rotor was warped.
I installed the Lyndall pads this morning, and on the first ride the pulsing cleared up.
They seem to stop better also, but I think I need to bed them in before I can give an honest evaluation. By the way, one of the things that might have aggravated the situation is that I have the habit of holding the front brake at a stop. I should have known better from the racecar, but thought it was worth passing on.
