I have noticed a large number of 2008 1125R with approximately 5000 miles for sale. The price is usually about 5 to 6 thousand dollars. This seems cheap given the cost of a new 1125R. I stopped by a dealer which I had notices on the web. He said he had "a bunch" in back, and he would sell one to me for whatever price for which he had sold one on Ebay, web, etc. He has sold one for $4800.00 and a couple others for about $5000.00. Ok, what's the deal there prices are scary low given the retail price.:confused: He was kind of cheeky concerning where they came from. But I have noticed other 1125R going for similar prices, so it not just this dealer.

I noticed that there was a recall impacting about 1700 bikes. Is there where they are coming from. Does anyone know the score?

Just bought a new 08 for 7k from my HD dealer, I think everyone is panicking because HD is dropping Buell.

just learned something new, my 08 started over heating the other day so i took the side covers off and the coolant res was full - of what looked like water prob w/ water wetter. if i'm right, then somebody had this thing on the track ( it had 600 mi on it when i bought it new), so, some of these prob came from a demo fleet.
