Alright guys, I am seriously considering trading my 07 675 Daytona on an 08 1125R with the new map flashed on. So I rode one down the road a few miles and liked the torque but could not hit any twisties on it. My question/s are how will this bike compare to my tona in terms of mpg, maintenance, handling, power, how do they respond to simple mods such as a pipe, and just what should I expect in general. Also what mods should I get upon purchase? Right now I am thinking of the full body kit and an FMF Apexcone exhaust. I just bought a 09 1125cr and love it. I come from racing a 185hp 07' GSXR 1000 and the 1125 puts a grin on my face. Maintenance is like every other bike. There is only one problem: You will want to ride it every day.
BTW: I have a Jardine RT-5 Carbon fiber slip on for sale. Brand new in the box.
