03 xb9s 53k. Crank bearings are toast. Dealer wants 4 to 5grand to rebuild.do I have any options? Any crate engines out there? Does this seem like a lot of money? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

found out that is a lot of money. Decided to rebuild myself. should have it all back together for under 400 bucks. New crank bearings, piston rings and gaskets.. By the way, when replacing a right side crank bearing (pinion side). you must have new races machined to fit new bearing! You will need a very competent machininst to do this!
