Couldn't find a carbon fiber instrument cowl so someone I know made a cover for me. I felt the cover would suffice instead of a full on carbon fiber piece in order to keep costs down. The piece has a lot of turns and so forth and it was a first time project. He made a full on carbon fiber exhaust guard and both pieces came out great. If any of you want to save a lot of money on the exhaust guard let me know and I'll put you in touch with him.
Here are some pics of the parts. I'm getting there with converting the handlebar area, as you can see I did the CRG 4" bar end mirrors and the Rizoma LED turn indicators. I installed them on either side of the headlight cowl, worked out excellent and easy install. The stock mirrors are heavy and don't work too well either.
I de-noided the bike today and left the solonoid under the seat temporially until I get a resister to plug in. Got to say the Buell female threads are on the weak side. I messed up two bolt hole threads today and not by forcing it. A slight angle maybe, but any other bolt hole would have been no problem. I don't like the quality there. Now I have to tap it out, oh well now I know to be very careful with the Buell bolt holes.
