I'm looking for anyone who knows of any manufacturer, custom or production, that is producing a lowering kit for my '97 S3T. Preferably an adjustable Shock mount. Anyone know of any?

I have made longer swingarms, front shock mounts, wheelie bar mounts... anyting you want. the back of my buell is about six inches lower. with a longer swingarm you have to run a stiffer spring. I tryed to load a pic but it was to big.

depends on how much you want to lower it. Since your bike is a 97, you more then likely have the 16.5" shock.... so you could use a 14.5" updated mount and that would lower the rear 2" or so....

there also used to be a company called westek or something like that that made a lowering mount.

I have see other either weld 2 tabs onto the original mount that moves the mounting hole, or weld a tube onto the factory mount and put a piece of threaded rod though so its adjustable.

Hey there,

My first post is helping you out... hopefully.

Racetech, everyone here probably knows about for rebuilding showa's, but they do much more

Like lowering bikes the right way... within the shock bodies.

Hope this helps your decision making.
