The Octane Motorcycle Jacket from Shift is a premium performance jacket that's comfortable and armored with CE-certified protectors in the shoulders and elbows. A 10mm foam back protector is also included, though you may wish to upgrade that with a more durable item with the integrated back protector pocket. Designed with comfort in mind, the jacket includes a unique ballistic nylon insert on the front lower portion that easily folds while leaned forward on the bike. The jacket has an extended spoiler on the rear that keeps your bum from hanging out while you ride the bike. Ventilation too, is well thought out with perforated leather just below the collar and in certain areas of the chest and back. Zip-closeable vents in front of the shoulders and at the rear flanks add a little extra cooling when the mercury rises. Unlike some jackets, the Octane comes with a full-length liner (NOT a vest) that's easily removable for storage under the seat of your bike. Use it when you're feeling a little chilly.

Available only in black, the Octane jacket from Shift exudes a low-key style that has top-end protection with double-layered leather in strategic areas for extra abrasion resistance from the 1.2-1.4mm leather.
