I found you through google search, first one that popped up, checked out the layout which I'm very familiar with already so its natural choice. I'm 18+yrs in the Army with one tour to Iraq left before I retire, that kicks off this summer. Growing up I've been a Sportbike rider, mostly Yamaha or Suzuki, currently own a 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa. I've had interest in the 1125R since I can first recall reading about it, and now seeing it at the local dealer is pretty much making this my next choice of rides. Why switch from the World's Fastest Streetbike? Simple, I've done pretty much everything on it I wanted to, drag raced, track days, back country touring and topping out the speedometer. I bought the Bus while living in AZ, and now moved to Colorado for retirement. CO provides way more mountain twisties than AZ, and missing the knee down posture while exploring new canyon backways is killing me. Choices came down to the Ducati 1098 or 1125R, the R being more affordable both initial entry and maintenance wise, I can handle having an extra $5k in my pocket! I started my own motorcycle parts supply business a year or so ago and looking now to stock in on Buell gadgets, any more info than that will wait until I purchase the 1125R and then setup a vendor account.
