My First knee dropper

Came from Harley Night Train to an 08 1125r !!! bought it with 5xxx miles and now have about 13xxx in just over a year. Been on the track once and went down once on separate occasions.

Nice to find a Buell forum as I could only find UK and Aussie forums to start with!

Welcome to the forum. How long have you owned your buell for? Any issues with it? I hear the 1125r's are unreliable have have a list of problems, enough to keep people far away from them.

Thanks! I've had it 3 years now and only one problem. Throws a CEL for "low fuel" which I think it is the fuel sender. Only thing that is bad with it is a constant light on. I will fix it once i get it tuned since I know how far I can go on a single tank. It will change with a tune lol. Other than that and the lack of a sence of letting owners do their own work on their own bike wigh easeI love the bike!!

hearing this sure beats hearing all the bad things about these bikes, it seems like Buell's are very unreliable, but you've been having a good experience so far.

What bikes did you own before and how do you like your buell compared to them?

I had an 07 Harley Night train before. Sold it when I got divorced to lessen the bills and bought the 1125r outright. I am happy with my purchase

I think he's just asking if you had any problems with your bike for the time you've owned it.
