What next?

After looking for a 2010 XB12X -Uly, and talking with all the local HD dealers if they could get parts, which they do not, I have decided to look else were in the adventure riding segment for a 2006 Triumph Tiger or BMW R1200 GS.
This was based on the lack of parts, information from dealers and inability to even find one to demo.
HP you had it in our grasp but let it slip away. :-{

parts availability

Argy,I'm sorry to hear of the way you were dealt with ...I just picked up 2 different OEM Buell parts @ my local former Buell dealer. I have purchased a complete fork leg, front fender, 2 right side turn signala,rear brake pedal, right side rear subframe, and a few other misc items for my 03 XB9S .. I was able to buy the ingnition switch relay from a local HD dealer, but Old Glory HD/Buell has been very helpful (and willing to take my cash) for NOS Buell parts. The prices are reasonable. The subject of parts availability did come up. The discussion yielded the fact that Buell parts are federally mandated to be available thru 2017... I'm gonna bet money that Old Glory in Laurel, MD. isn't the only good "former" Buell dealer in the US...
ps: I like a few of the "new" Triumph models as well !
