Buell lightning xb12stt won’t start
I have a 2007 Buell lightning xb12stt that I bought from a insurance action. The bike looked like it was laid down on the left side and has a broken front left ped, bent shifter lever, broken left rear view mirror, busted module brackets, no horn, the clutch lever switch is dangling, and the front wind shield is busted. Bike tacometer and module cluster works and lights up when I turn the key as well as the neutral light and lights. The fuel pump primes when I turn the key on and when I switch the kill switch from the on and off position. Sorry for all the info I just wanted to be sure to include as much as possible. Anyways, when I have the key on and bike in neutral with clutch pulled in and hit the start switch, I get nothing. I tried to bypass it and ark the soliniod and started, but the starter just spun without engaging anything. I’ve checked all the fuses, tested the battery as well as replaced it, checked grounds and have had no luck. Anyone have any advice on what could be wrong or where to look next? I shift the bike into gear and compress clutch lever and the bike won’t roll but found if I shift it into higher gears it rolls. Could something have happened to the clutch sensor or something?
