Have a Blast and it is a Blast. Friend has a Sportster, she won't ride it, rides the Blast instead. We use it as a pit bike, commuter bike, even have had it on the track. Slightly modded, will do 94mph on a good day!

Yeah, I'd like to hear some impressions on the Blast myself. I'm looking to buy one for my daughter.

EDIT: Hey Administrator, is that you Stew???

Have a Blast

All,

Got a 2009 Blast last weekend for my wife. It's not quite like my Fat Boy or V-Rod but it's a kick. Rode it to work yesterday and it hauled my 235 pounds down the freeway at 75 mph - no problem.

So far I've very impressed and my wife loves it.

Rubber side down.

I've been Blasting about 40 miles a day for the last year and I'm loving it.

Virtually no user maintenance, but it does run through the rear tire (expect an average of 3-3.5k miles), but they are relatively inexpensive.

No trouble in town or on the highway battling the 18-wheelers. I don't think I'd want to do more than a couple of hundred miles at a time, though.

I ride my blast to work eveyday (40 miles round trip) and I love it!
its great on gas, does great on highway even with semi passing by and can ride all day @ 70-75 mph (I never went faster than that on it myself )
its very light weight (360 lbs) so its easy to move even for me @ 5'4", helps that I flat foot it too.
I am a woman who started to ride last year and this is such an awesome bike!
IMO its one of the best bike outhere to build up confidence and skills, its enough bike (500cc) to ride with anyone, anywhere, but yet its not overpowering.
I started on a Ninja 250 and after seeing the Buell Blast, I sold it within 48 hrs (YAY Craigs list!!) and had a red Blast in my driveway, I've never looked back since then!

oh, Did I mention how great it looks too???!!!
