1999 Cyclone running baddd.... HELP

Ive got a 1999 Cyclone that ive owned now for about two months. Up until last week the bike ran flawless, my first buell and i love it! Last week i went riding up in the mountians and the bike began to miss like hell, stalled on me a few times and didnt want to start. It has gotten worse and at this point isnt rideable. Its having trouble starting now and when it does its running like shit, like the timing is off or something. Seems like a ignition problem but when i check its got good spark. Ive drained the tank, check the filter, cleaned the carb, and checked the batt voltage. No luck yet. What you guys think? From what ive read i suspect the pick up/cam sensor... Anyone know how to test one or symptoms of a failing unit? What ya guys think? Need to get my baby up and running. Any advise would be great. Thanks
