saajaguarxk Speaking of "love" for one of the best motorcycles ever built, does anyone know of a owner's directory of the 1125? It might be interesting to find out where the 1125's are located, who owns them and maybe even get together some time for a meet at one of the larger motorcycle events.

Trooper HI!
I think it's because there's no more factory support so if you buy a Buell, you're essentially on your own. With the falling mechanical ability of riders as well as the complexity of the electronics, you can't just bite the bullet and take it to the dealer if you have to. You're right though, I just bought an 1125r in excellent shape, 13K on it for 3600. That was with a bunch of accessories thrown in. I think this particular bike was inexpensive because it's one of the white and blue ones...hehe No young guy wants a white bike with blue wheels in 2018.

Why is there no love for the Buell 1125R?

I've been noticing these bikes for sale for what appears to me like a really cheap price, and they seem to get absolutely no love.

Case in point: this example for sale locally. 2009 Buell 1125R with 23000km (about 14K), apparently needs nothing for only 4500$.

Or this other local example. 2008, 10000km for 5500$.

Is it just because it has a Rotax engine which should produce more power than it does?

What's the deal?
